I feel there is so much complexity with humans and it is not as simple as a binary good/bad dichotomy when discussing people. And yet, most of the time we have no time to see nuances so we inadvertently dehumanise people by labelling them (I have been guilty of this myself) in order to make the world make sense a little more and make peace with the fact that we are good people, we would NEVER behave in a socially deemed 'bad' way. Those who have must be fundamentally different to us. And yet the scary truth that often we may not want to admit to ourselves is had we been in their place, we too may have done the same.
